WWE Superstar John Cena with Batista

John Cena is a hell of a fighter. When combined with Batista they make a great team. John Cena seems a bit thin compared to other wrestlers, but he is definitely built nonetheless. However, that doesn’t put him at a disadvantage. I’ve seen many other wrestlers act slow in their reaction because of their large size and John Cena takes advantage of this with his high speed beat-down offense. He has the agility of a Raichu Pokemon.

WWE Superstar Triple-H Vs. Big Show

these two fighting, Big Show is way bigger than Triple-H when compared side by side in terms of size. However, size is nothing when it comes to WWE wrestling. Triple-H is a hell of a fighter and can put up a fight even against a guy larger than his size. Big Show uses some crazy moves though. I’ve seen him head-butt, pull Triple-H by the hair. Other disadvantage Big Show has at being a large size is that he is very slow. I’ve seen him charge at Triple-H, and Triple-H just jumps out of the way and Big Show falls on to the borders of the ring and injures him self for no reason. Also I’ve seen him try to do a body slam and Triple-H just jumps out of the way.

WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio Injured

WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio has recovered from his recent ear infection but has been having shoulder problems this past week. Rey visited Dr. James Andrews who diagnosed the injury as a tear, but didn’t feel like Rey needed surgery.
Rey was told he needed rehab on the shoulder and that he needed to take a few weeks off. Rey still worked this past weekend and the SmackDown tapings. Rey’s match with Alberto Del Rio at TLC was originally planned to be a Ladder Match but that was changed due to the injury.
Several other WWE stars are currently working banged up. One wrestler notes that a lot of the talents need time off and this year they don’t have the usual Christmas break that they’ve had in the past.

Cena Says Goodbye – WWE Survivor Series Results 2010

A little integrity is better than any career. – Ralph Waldo Emerson For John Cena, that sentiment may prove to be his undoing. Reexamination: Edge vs John Cena is the WWE’s Greatest Rivalry

Last week, I entered the latest Creature vs Creature contest. The subject was to present the greatest feud in wrestling history. Immediately names like Austin/McMahon or Rock/Austin are top contenders to the accolade. Being that the contest called for us to differ from others, I faced a dilemma. It’s been years since those feuds and numerous rivalries have arose since then.
I wrapped my mind around John Cena vs Randy Orton. Ill-fated and ill prepared, I chose arguably the best rivalry of the decade. After I posted it, I felt it wasn’t to the best of my ability. Though everyone has their own opinion, one comment caught my attention. They informed me that Cena’s feud with Edge was better than Orton’s.
I later realized that he was right.
As a huge Edgehead, I felt foolish to ignore any of his various feuds. A person of Edge’s heel persona is to draw emotion from fans such as anger and shock. When Edge cashed his MITB on John Cena in 2006, I was infuriated. Then I thought to myself, perfect.
That’s what made the Cena/Edge feud great. It’s ability to draw the emotion of its viewers. Along with the many surprises, crowd reaction and outside factors involved. The rivalry was simply “history”. Take a look at the first that came from Cena/Edge.
It was the first MITB cash in. Edges first reign as the WWE Champion. The first time it seemed like someone else had the attention besides Cena. Besides benefiting Edge, the rivalry gave a different view of Cena from a fan’s standpoint.
He was human simply. Cena was riding an awesome wave of momentum those 200-plus days as the WWE Champion. He beat every single person there was to beat excluding Triple H. While it wasn’t a problem with me, fans like change. One guy holding and defending the belt countless times can’t be entertaining.
Cena would continue his momentum three weeks later though. But the damage was already done. Edge was officially the “Rated R Superstar.” From the live sex celebration to the feud with Mick Foley, Edge took the ball and he ran with it.
